The Barter Queen

So anytime we go shopping to the markets along the streets, or want to buy something from the locals on the beach, we always make sure to have Eimear with us... our personal barter QUEEN. She is brilliant!

Here are a few direct Eimear quotes while bartering:

She bought a monkey necklace, which the locals call 'wanky monkey', yes I know, classy!
"Hang on, how many Wanky Monkey's have you sold in the last week, actually in the last month? They're not the greatest seller are they? Go on, give me a good price."

"What. How much for that bracelet? Sure I'd have to buy insurance for that as well."

"I have to support a family too Mr."

Myself and Liv didn't want to pay the full price to go out on Jet Ski's so we bartered the Thai boys down to nearly nothing to just bring us for a spin, finally then they gave in and let us drive, ha :)
