Prostitute Pool Rules

This is a long'un but a good'un!

We woke up and had breakfast in Khosan House again, cheap eggs :) After breakfast we went to one of the internet cafe's and booked our boat tickets for Koh Tao, which includes a taxi pick up from our hotel, costs 650 Baht.

We spent the day on the sun loungers at Ark Bar again listening to the pumping tunes while Eimear bartered with Thai people for more bracelets. We bought lilo's and floated around - better than getting the little jellyfish stings. Dunno if I mentioned the mini box jellyfish yet, but that's what we were told. As you swim in the sea at Chaweng beach you can feel these tiny little stings every now and then, not bad enough to not want to swim but we didn't know what it was. Tiny box jellyfish apparently, they do not affect you, other than the 3 second sting and leaves no mark. Just more annoying than anything else! The actual normal sized box jellyfish can be fatal apparently. Ahhhhh!

Anyways.... The girls and myself bought some beaut street stall corn on the cob from a little old Thai lady who lashed on the butter and salt -  sooooo tasty. As I was sunbathing, a guy with a monkey on a chain just came over and put the monkey on my shoulder to make me buy a picture from him. Usually the monkeys are small baby ones but this one was HUGE!!! Tara goes mental when they bring the monkeys over, she hates it! I feel guilty everytime I reach out and they grab my finger, they are dead cute, I can't help it! ha!

After grabbing food we headed to a Ladyboy Caberet Show - HILARIOUS!!!

I dunno where they tuck their willy's but they tuck them good! They all performed different songs, some old, some new, in FABULOUS outfits! There were about 10 Beyonces performing 'Single Ladies' - probs my fave, or the Moulin Rouge one was great. They are NOT as stunning up close, then they are on stage - Do not be fooled! haha!

Later we headed to a bar called 'Henry Africas' which is where a lot of Thai girls pick up Western men. This is where the blog post title comes in. There are Thai girls playing pool, Western men sign up to play them, if the man wins - he gets the Thai girl for the night if he wishes, but still has to pay a fee, but if the Thai girl wins (which apparently mostly happens, as they are pool sharks) the man has to buy her drinks. There is also a security guard guy that makes sure everyone plays by the rules. Seriously WTF?!

They also walk around playing connect four - if the Thai girl wins, you buy her a shot. If you win, you get a shot. Apparently Thai prostitutes are the connect four champions of the world. Thai people have so many talents - connect four, making good corn on the cobb etc. :p

Here we are drinking more buckets! Never a good idea! ha! Tara, the only sensible one having a beer 'cause she knows what we have in store for us on the boat the next day!

We headed to Mango Nightclub which is BRILLIANT - but this was an awful idea, since we had to be up at 6am for our taxi pick up for the boat, ahhhh! Had about 2 hours sleep and it didn't help that we were drinking that rocket fuel Thai redbull!!!
