Off to the Islands

We booked our flight to Koh Samui, our first Island. You can access boats to all the other Islands on the North coast from there. We got on a tiny jet plane called Bangkok Air which flew quite low over lots of small Islands before reaching Koh Samui. The airport we arrived in was gorgeous, if you can describe an airport with that word, Kate would never agree! ha! It is literally a cute little hut.

We then took a mini bus - 120 Baht each to Chaweng Beach, where we stayed at the Coconut house which is across from the famous Ark bar. Coconut house was basic, spacious and central and was only 300 Baht a night which is like €6!

We had dinner at Khosan House, which Tara said is the cheapest place on the road and really nice food. I had Chicken Pad Thai Noodles. Sooooo good! And of course a Mai Tai cocktail :)

We then had pre-drinks with a bunch of English lads we met in our hotel and headed to Ark Bar Beach party. I LOVE Ark bar. I cannot explain this in enough detail. Lots of tables on the beach, a stones throw from the sea, dance and dubstep music, fire dancers, I hugged a monkey and an iguana, fire skipping rope (Aine did this and went flying on her arse, was hilarious.... so did everyone who attempted it though)

We drank Vodka and Redbull buckets. Thai Redbull gives you more than wings. It gives you a rocket up your arse, metal stuff!!!

Then we ended up in Mango Nightclub which was huge, was an unreal night! I LOVE Thailand!!!
